This year, the WEAAD Virtual Conference will be a digital experience spaced over two days: November 9-10, 2020. Learn about the latest issues and innovative supports and programs in aging and disability; connect with like-minded peers from across the nation; and be moved by nationally renowned speakers.
Yes, the conference will be recorded and available up to one (1) month after the event (December 11, 2020). Important: some recorded sessions will not be available.
All sessions will be open admittance and available to all registered attendees.

  • Gaining Access: Registered attendees will receive the URL address of the WEAAD Virtual Conference landing page while the live event is being built. This landing page is the gateway to the live event, which can only be accessed with log-in credentials on the dates the event is live. Closer to the conference dates, individuals will be notified of their log-in credentials. Your credentials cannot be shared or used simultaneously with another user.
  • Logging In: Simply log-in to the landing page prior to the opening remarks on November 9-10, 2020, sit back, and explore! Enjoy professional content and virtual networking from the comfort of your home or office.
  • System Compatibility: We recommend using Google Chrome for best platform performance (vfairs.com is the conference vendor). You will also need to have access to WebEx for the live streamed sessions, with a working mic and camera to participate.

Attendees earn points for participation and those with the highest participation will have a chance to win a prize. For example, 100 points for filling out a survey, 200 points to log in to the event, 500 points for watching a session.

When you register for the conference, you are asked to provide your nursing license number. After the conference ends, WEAAD event organizers will be provided a record of all attendees participation during the event. The amount of your participation will result in the amount of CEU hours earned during the live event only (not including viewed recordings after the event). You will then receive your CEU certificate of participation within one month via email.

The University of Arizona Center on Aging, an Approved Provider of the California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP14824, has approved this program for 14 contact hours.
